If you're planning to head to the Costa Calida, be sure to spend some time at La Manga Club, where you'll find three 18-hole championship courses. The courses have pars of 71, 72 and 73 respectively, while there's also a par 47 pitch and putt course for short game enthusiasts.
The club is a prominent golfing hotspot in the region, having hosted a wealth of events in its 40-year history, including the Spanish PGA and five Spanish Opens.
Cultural Valenica is another great location for a warm Spanish holiday, and if you choose it as your destination you won't be far from the golfing action, as you can make your way to El Saler. The course here is regarded as being one of continental Europe's best laid out and is also situated in a nature reserve on the banks of the Mediterranean Sea, so you'll only be a stone's throw away from the beach.

If you're planning a stay on the Costa Brava, meanwhile, you won't want to miss a trip to the PGA Cataluyna Resort, which is situated in Caldes de Malavella, Catalonia. There are two 18-holes courses here, the most popular of which is the Stadium. This interesting green is a great play for all skill levels, as each hole can be approached from five different tees.
