Extra winter sun flights from Monarch
Additional flights have been added to Monarch’s Christmas and New Year flying programme, as large numbers of Brits are looking for a winter getaway.
With some festive sunshine on the horizon, the demand for services to Spanish and Cypriot holiday hotspots has soared.
The airline has added extra flights to Malaga, Tenerife and Larnaca during the holidays. The additional flights to Tenerife will be operating from London Gatwick. And the two other destinations will be served from Manchester.
In addition to the extra services, the airline has also introduced additional seats on flights to Tenerife from Luton and Manchester, and to Lanzarote from Gatwick. The additional flights mean that Monarch has increased the available capacity by over 6,000 seats to these festive hotspots.
Managing Director of Monarch Airlines, Tim Jeans said, ‘Demand for flights over Christmas continues to soar, particularly to our mid haul destinations such as the Canary Islands and Cyprus, where the average temperature in December rarely drops below 20 degrees.’
With Christmas and New Year less than two months away, now is the time to plan that sunny winter getaway.
